So today i wanted to explain why i titled my blog "Remember Your Life" just in case anyone was curious! I suppose it sounds silly because of course we remember our lives - the day our kids were born, our first kiss, summer camp, Disneyland . . . etc. But our lives cannot be these momentous occasions alone and we often forget the day-to-day "little things" that i believe makes life so wonderful. So i have decided (and i know alot of scrapbookers out there do the same) to record those little things so that i can always remember those sweet, annoying and funny times in my life! I posted some pictures of some pages that i have done about our family trips to Starbucks! I know, I know . . . coffee? But really it is a Sunday tradition that my family does, especially in the summertime after we come back from the beach. It's a treat and tradition now and although it's just coffee, it is special to us.
On one page I staged my kids so they would fit on the embellishments i bought . . . a fun and easy technique! If you find an embellishment you'd like to try this with, all you need to do is postion the object you'd like to cut out how you want it to look on the embellishment, then stand back and eyeball how big the object will be on a 4x6 photo. It may take a few trys but it's really easy with great results.
