Happy New Year!

Well it's a new year and there is no better time to try new things! I took some time off my blog to work on more projects than I can count. But in doing so, I learned many new things and am excited to share my new projects and ideas with you. I am committed to updating my blog at least once a month, and even more so when I want to share something extra special. So lets get scrappin'!
To start off the new year, try these new ideas:

1. Try a new technique. I personally am trying the "layering" technique. The layering of paper, embellishments, stickers, etc. gives a wonderful dimension and effect to your pages or projects.

2. Try a new layout. Placing your pictures in a new design will keep your pages interesting and open up your page for more creativity.

3. Try new products. Be it new styles of paper, trying rubber stamps or spray ink, the possibilities are endless!

If you find yourself stuck for ideas or inspiration, I highly recommend picking up a scrapbooking magazine. They are easy to find at your local grocery store or bookstore. I always pick up the latest because it is fun, inspirational and informative of new products. I'd love to hear your comments and ideas too!

Good luck in the new year and happy scrapping!
